Tours & Activities

Enjoy a 2–3 hour excursion down one of Jamaica’s longest rivers. Bamboo rafts, once used to transport bananas and coconuts from Portland’s farmland to the coast, were later popularized for leisure by actor Errol Flynn. Today, Rio Grande River Rafting is one of the top attractions in Port Antonio. A Raft Captain punts you down the river as you relax and absorb the tropical beauty. Halfway down, you can stop for a meal at Belinda’s riverside shack, consistently rated Jamaica’s #1 food spot on TripAdvisor. Belinda slow-cooks her dishes over hot stones, creating tender, delicious meals for passing rafters. It’s considered the most popular and scenic excursion in the parish.

1:30hr drive to the neighbouring parish of St Thomas and into the heart of tranquility and natural beauty lies Bath Fountain - a place rich in history and renowned for it’s therapeutic hot and cold springs which flow from two rocks. The water is mixed before it enters the bathhouses which are built for guests to enjoy the healing waters. rich in sulphur, magnesium and lime known to be excellent for the treatment of rheumatic ailments and skin disorders.  Local masseurs offer healing massages on the edge of the spring so you can come away from this experience feeling brand new.

Incredible natural waterfalls about 45 mins drive away. Reach Falls stands out as one of the most beautiful places in Jamaica. The water cascades are surrounded by lush rainforest and  tumble over tiers of rocks from one jade pool into the next.

2-3 hour scenic drive into  the Blue Mountains, where some of the world's best coffee is grown. Stop off and taste the rich coffee at a coffee farm and take in the breathtaking scenery of the infamous Jamaican mountain range.
